This means your treatment plan is tailored to your skin—rather than fitting your skin to a treatment that may not be suitable.

A dermal therapist is a qualified skin health professional with training in skin biology, skin assessment and non-medical and advanced dermal (skin) therapies.

At Olea, care is provided exclusively by a university-qualified dermal therapist who holds membership with the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians (ASDC), the peak professional body for dermal therapists and dermal clinicians in Australia.

Olea is a professional, practitioner-led dermal therapy studio based in Fernvale. Treatments are provided by founder Linda De George, a qualified dermal therapist with a background in psychology and health.

The studio operates in accordance with applicable local council and infection control requirements and maintains appropriate professional and public liability insurance.

Absolutely. Not everyone needs or wants in-clinic treatments, and a personalised home skincare routine can be a great place to start.

During a Skin Consultation, your skin will be assessed alongside a discussion of your concerns, goals, lifestyle and current skincare routine. From there, a personalised home care routine can be recommended using professional skincare products available through Olea.

There is no obligation to have in-clinic treatments if you would prefer not to. Your consultation includes a professional skin assessment, personalised advice and recommendations suited to your skin and goals.

The timeframe varies depending on your skin concerns, goals and treatment approach.

Some people notice early improvements in their skin's hydration, brightness or overall appearance after their first treatment, while other concerns—such as pigmentation, acne or age-related skin changes—may require a series of treatments and consistent home care over time.

Because healthy skin renews gradually, lasting results are usually achieved through a combination of professional treatments, appropriate home care and consistency over time.

During your Skin Consultation, realistic expectations about what may be achievable for your individual skin and circumstances will be discussed.

There is no obligation to purchase recommended skincare products stocked at Olea.

However, good home care is an important part of maintaining healthy skin, supporting treatment outcomes and, in some cases, is required for preparing the skin for advanced treatments.

Your current skincare routine will be reviewed and, where appropriate, product recommendations made based on your skin's needs, goals and budget. Sometimes that may mean a recommendation to add new products, while other times it may mean a recommendation to simplify your routine or change very little at all.

Home skincare recommendations don’t necessarily mean replacing products you already use and enjoy, or following a complex, multi-step routine that doesn't fit your lifestyle. The aim is to help you build an effective, sustainable skincare routine that works for you.

At Olea, carefully selected professional skincare products and treatment technologies are used, including Circadia and Science in-studio treatments and skincare, Dermapen microneedling with DP Dermaceuticals, and Dermalux LED phototherapy. Each has been selected for its quality, safety and role in supporting skin health and treatment outcomes.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment and is deducted from your treatment fee on the day.

At least 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations, late rescheduling, late arrivals and failure to attend may result in the loss of your deposit.
